Join O2IT as a Cloud DevOps Engineer to develop GCP infrastructures with the latest cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methods. Ideal for those passionate about cloud computing, automation, and solving complex problems in a dynamic setting. You’ll manage the GCP platform, engineer solutions with Terraform, and ensure security and compliance, working closely with development teams to optimize performance. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and adopting emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities
and qualifications
- GCP platform management
Engineer and manage GCP foundation platforms to support application deployments, using IaC methods like Terraform, and integrate, configure, deploy, and manage common cloud services while ensuring compliance with security and operational risks. - Rotational 24/7 support
Offer out-of-hours support on a rotational basis for 24/7 coverage, demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and reliability. - Extensive DevOps experience in GCP
A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on GCP is essential, showcasing a proven track record in leveraging cloud computing, Linux systems, and automation to drive solutions. - Programming & automation expertise
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala) is required, along with experience in automation and configuration management. - Strong problem-solving skills
Possess excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for tackling technical challenges head-on, and a continuous learning mindset to adapt to and leverage emerging technologies. - Organizational skills
Exhibit strong organizational skills for structured task management, prioritizing effectively while being open to adapting to new methodologies. - Clear communication & collaboration
Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
